100 Years Ago Women Got the Right to Vote

This year, we want the highest turnout of women voters. Ever.

When the 19th Amendment was passed on August 18, 1920, women finally got the right to vote — but there was more work to be done for underprivileged and POC women.

Today, that work continues. Join the movement to get the highest turnout of women voters in 100 years and cast your vote this November.

We’re better together, so spread the word and share the movement.

Inspire all the women in your life to make it to the polls!

4 out of 10 women
don’t vote.

Together, we can change that. Speak openly about voting. Share reliable voter resources. Check in on your friends on election day.

When you cast your vote, you empower another woman to cast hers, and we want every eligible woman to vote. Full stop.

The gender gap

Women have turned out to vote in higher numbers than men since 1964, but studies show that many non-voting women don’t vote because they think they don’t know enough about politics. Men who say they don’t know enough vote three times more than those same women. Don’t let that happen this year.

Find the right resources then cast your vote with the confidence of a man who knows less than he thinks he does — and the assurance of a woman who’s done her research.

What is Turnout 100?

Turnout 100 is a grassroots movement dedicated to empowering more women to cast their vote. By providing reliable voter resources and getting pledges from women like you, we hope to see the highest turnout of eligible women voters in the 2020 Presidential election this November. Stay tuned. There’ll be more to see — from us and from women all across the country.
